What is a Maker Faire?

Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement.

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. It’s a venue for makers to show examples of their work and interact with others about it. Many makers say they have no other place to share what they do. DIY (Do-It-Yourself) is often invisible in our communities, taking place in shops, garages and on kitchen tables. It’s typically out of the spotlight of traditional art or science or craft events. Maker Faire makes visible these projects and ideas that we don’t encounter every day.

Creative Learning Festival

Join us for hands-on workshops, interactive exhibits, and inspiring demonstrations at Maker Faire Mostar. Experience creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning at Maker Faire Mostar this October 4th.

A hands-on festival for makers and explorers.

The global showcase of creativity promises intelligent entertainment for families with kids while also bringing together specialists and hobbyists.
You can try nearly anything at Maker Faire, create a lot of items yourself, or participate in a variety of courses. At the festivals, makers—creators and inventors—present their work.

Anyone with a creative spirit is a maker.

Someone who creates innovations because they are dissatisfied with the products, services, or technologies that are currently accessible. They share their creations with others rather than keeping their own creative energy to themselves.
The maker movement is not limited to any particular activity; through open workshops, it fosters entrepreneurship and creativity while facilitating access to manufacturing tools.
